The MT2725 is an NBN Premises connection Device (PCD) that is an external wall or pole mounted enclosure used in FTTH networks. The enclosure is mounted at each dwelling providing a connection point for the Fibre Lead-In cable and the Lateral cable (Internal flexible patch cord) that connects to a fibre Telecommunications Outlet (TO) or direct to an Optical Network Unit.

  • The PCD provides storage for excess lead-in or lateral cables. Shrouded cable entries are located at the bottom of the enclosure with rubber grommets and cable tie points providing strain relief. Additional splice cassettes can be stacked where the PCD is used for multi dwelling units (MDU) with a maximum of 4 cassettes within the PCD.
